This section contains more detailed case studies of selected open-air theatre companies and sites. The featured companies and sites were selected by the creators as part of a University of Exeter Public History research project.

These case studies can be used alongside the project's educational resources, as they refer to past productions of plays including As You Like It, MacbethRomeo and Juliet, and Twelfth Night, or to learn more in general about the history and practice of the featured open-air theatre companies and sites.
